TerMs OF SERVICE
I. General Application of The Terms and Conditions
With effect from July 2021,
Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the https://helpherdobetter.com/ website (the “Website”, “Service”) and the various other platforms, including but not limited to, the use of Core Collective, ClassPass, PushPress, Market For Good, Eventbrite, to manage your account, bookings, communications, purchases and registration, operated by HelpHer Do Better Pte. Ltd. (“HHDB”).
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree or do not adhere to any part of the Terms and Conditions, you will not be granted access to the Service.
HHDB has the right to amend or revise these sets of Terms at any time without notice.
II. Class Booking Policy
Reservations should be made through personal appointment with Coach Munira Muhris, or online through our various platforms such as Core Collective, ClassPass, PushPress, Market For Good and Eventbrite. More information can be found on the respective platforms. We do not accept any “Walk-In” to classes with available space. Once class has been confirmed, fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the class has been cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, we will return the full amount.
III. Cancellation Policy for Booked Classes or Appointments
Cancellation of your class or appointment booking must be made 12 hours in advance. Any cancellation done within 12 hours from the start of the class will be considered a late cancellation, and you will be charged for the session, as if you had attended class. If you want a refund, a medical certificate or other official documents must be provided.
If the coach is unavailable for a solo appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (such as sickness), a replacement session will be done in the same week or another pre-arranged time. If the coach is unavailable for a group class due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be given.
IV. Late Coming and Early Departure
If you are running late for your class or appointment, we ask that you call the respective coach to let us know that you are on the way. For group classes, after 10 minutes, latecomers will be refused entry into the class.
For personal sessions, latecomers will be given up to 30 minutes of waiting time, while the session’s time will continue to run. No extra time will be given to make up for the lost time caused by the latecomer, and the session will continue as per normal for the remainder of the time. For more than 30 minutes of waiting time, the session will be cancelled.
V. Retail and Merchandise
All retail and merchandise sales are non-refundable at HHDB.
VI. Waiver and Release
By signing up for and/or attending classes, events, activities, and other programs at HHDB, you hereby acknowledge that there could be certain inherent risks and dangers involved in using our services. With full awareness of the risks involved, you agree to waive and release all claims against HelpHer Do Better and the coach/yoga trainer/personal trainer/therapist of HelpHer Do Better from any consequential loss that may be incurred.
VII. Indemnity
For the use of our services, you agree to the following:
- I give my permission to receive coaching/yoga instruction/personal training/therapy.
- I understand that yoga/personal training/therapeutic services are not a substitute for traditional medical treatment or medications.
- I understand that the yoga teacher/personal trainer/therapist does not diagnose illnesses or injuries, or prescribe medications.
- I have clearance from my physician to do yoga/receive personal training/receive therapy.
- I understand the risks associated with yoga/personal training/therapeutic services include but are not limited to: superficial bruising, short-term muscle soreness, exacerbation of undiscovered injury, therefore, release the company and the individual therapist from all liability concerning these injuries that may occur during the session.
- I understand the importance of informing my yoga teacher/personal trainer/therapist of all medical conditions and medications I am taking, and to let her know about any changes to these.
- I understand that there may be additional risks based on my physical condition. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform my therapist of any discomfort I may feel during the session so she may adjust accordingly.
- I understand that I or the yoga teacher/personal trainer/therapist may terminate the session at any time.
- I have been given a chance to ask questions about the session and my questions have been answered.
- I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the therapist & HelpHer Do Better from any loss, injury, liability, damage, or cost that may incur due to the provision of therapy by the therapist & HelpHer Do Better to me.
VIII. Data Collection & Privacy Policy
For the use of our services, you agree to allow us to collect and store personal data from you. The data will be used to:
- Better understand your needs
- Improve our services and products
- Send you promotional emails containing information about classes, membership and events
- Contact you to fill out surveys and participate in other forms of market research
- To customize our website based on your online behaviour and personal preferences
All information collected will be kept strictly confidential, and will only be used for internal evaluation. HelpHer Do Better is committed to securing your data and prevention of data theft through the implementation of the latest technologies and software.
IX. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, software and material from the HHDB website and from the various platforms used by HHDB are property of, or duly licensed to HHDB. Third parties are not allowed to utilize the materials for modification, reproduction, distributions, transmission purposes, unless given the prior written permission by HelpHer Do Better.
